There are also hints of vanilla and caramel with buttery smooth tannins that offer a pleasant finish.

2) Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon
Another Cabernet Sauvignon from California, that is beautifully crafted wine that offers great balance between fruit and tannins. The aromas of dark cherry, black currant, chocolate, and blackberry blend well with notes of oak and vanilla on the nose. On the palate, it has a dark fruit character with some earthy notes and soft tannins.
This is an excellent red wine to pair with grilled steak, mushroom pasta, or gamey meats and it offers a great QPR (Quality Price ratio)!

One of my favorite affordable, easy-drinking red wines you can have everyday. Conundrum Red has a medium-bodied palate of ripe blackberry, plum and cherry flavors. There’s a hint of oaky notes on the finish, but it is well balanced with soft tannins and juicy acidity making it very easy to drink.
So if you want to enjoy an everyday drinking red wine without breaking the bank, I highly recommend this wine at Kroger!
4) Freakshow Cabernet Sauvignon
Another popular wine produced by Michael David winery. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a smooth, easy-drinking red with aromas of plums, and blackberry with hints of leather, oak and tobacco. And on the palate, there are notes of plum, blueberry, and vanilla that finishes off with soft tannins and a smoky finish.
If you are looking for an earthier red with dark fruits, vanilla, and smoke notes.
5) The Stag Cabernet Sauvignon

And on the palate it has a rich texture filled with flavors of dark berry fruit as well as toasty oak and a touch of pepper. Furthermore, it’s a full bodied wine with well-integrated tannins with that lead to a smooth finish.
