Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon Review

Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon Review

Corvelia is known for only producing three types of wine: Red Wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel. They produce 45,000 cases annually.

However, the Cabernet Sauvignon is the flagship wine of Corvelia because of its enticing dark fruit aroma, full-bodied taste, and attractive price.

The Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most popular wines in Trader’s Joe. To be honest, many people are attracted to its simple and elegant design, thinking it’s an expensive bottle. Surprisingly, this wine only costs ~$9 – $10 and has a great fruity flavor.

Where is Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon Produced?

Corvelia produces this wine in Paso Robles, California. And they grow their fruits sustainably and harvest from their vineyards in the rolling hills of Paso Robles.

My Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon Review

Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon

The Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon is a fantastic wine from Paso Robles. It has a deep ruby color with almost pale purple at the rim of the glass. Its big and bold taste is not something you normally get at this price range. Additionally, it is well-balanced and easy to drink. So it’s always a great choice for a glass on your own.

Aroma

With my first sniff, I immediately smelled dark fruits, blackberries, oak, and vanilla. And after smelling it a few more times, there’s also a hint of cherry, chocolate, and tobacco spice.

Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Notes

Taste

Tasting the wine, I confirmed what I smelled. Dark fruits such as blackberry, plum, oak, cherry, and vanilla are evident. It has a great balance of fruit flavors and is a good example of a Paso Robles Cab.

Finish

The Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon has a smooth finish and velvety aftertaste. It’s dry with medium to high tannins and mild acidity. It’s a great choice if you want to drink a single glass of wine or the whole bottle!

Where to Buy?

The Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon is exclusively available at Trader Joe’s and costs $9.99.
