The Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon is a fantastic wine from Paso Robles. It has a deep ruby color with almost pale purple at the rim of the glass. Its big and bold taste is not something you normally get at this price range. Additionally, it is well-balanced and easy to drink. So it’s always a great choice for a glass on your own.Â
With my first sniff, I immediately smelled dark fruits, blackberries, oak, and vanilla. And after smelling it a few more times, there’s also a hint of cherry, chocolate, and tobacco spice.
Tasting the wine, I confirmed what I smelled. Dark fruits such as blackberry, plum, oak, cherry, and vanilla are evident. It has a great balance of fruit flavors and is a good example of a Paso Robles Cab.Â
The Corvelia Cabernet Sauvignon has a smooth finish and velvety aftertaste. It’s dry with medium to high tannins and mild acidity. It’s a great choice if you want to drink a single glass of wine or the whole bottle!
