This wine has a light ruby-red color on the glass. Its aroma is filled with ripe raspberry, red currants, blackberry, and orange peel followed by notes of fig, spice, and espresso.

This is a medium to full-bodied wine that has decent acidity and smooth tannins. On the palate, you can taste the flavors of raspberry, cherry, blackberry, and vanilla. There are also hints of balsamic creating a lingering finish. 

For a red wine, this would be solid wine. However as a Brunello di Montalcino, it’s just not quite there.
